Responsible for pestering the Advisors, Mentors, Booster Club to be sure everyone is equally informed. Organizes our competition pit, battery cycling, etc. The positions change somewhat from year-to-year, however, we always have frc business plans President and Vice-President.

To further support other teams, our website has a thorough collection of resources, including detailed documents on topics as varied as programming, corporate sponsorship, and competition scouting.

There have been numerous benefits from writing the business plan. Following the January kickoff of a new season with a new challenge, the team works for six weeks to build a game-specific robot. We are located in Ballston Spa, New York. Its four programs empower students of all ages to learn and apply engineering skills in an encouraging environment.

We never would have realized this opportunity without the high-level analysis of our events that writing the business plan forced us to do. Through Coopertition, opposing teams build each other through enthusiastic mentorship and coordinated innovation.

Team Impact Outreach Summary: The overwhelming majority of funding for Team originates in the form of corporate sponsorships. The class culminated in a high school wide Tradeshow in which each member of the class developed his or her own product to sell.

We have also performed demos at local parks and run a Lego academy summer camp in August. Annual ice cream sales at school, team merchandise marketing at our hosted events, and sponsored art raffles enable us to acquire additional funds. Also, failure to perform will impact advisor approval.

But we have fun while doing it not to say that entrepreneurs don't and we are all dedicated to the cause of STEM education. It's really a framework to direct your team growth, spot where you're weak, and plan for contingencies.

1/3 of FRC teams have less than $10, in annual support and 50% have less than $16, to give you an idea of the minimum funds required to raise and manage. By working hand-in-hand with companies to promote their business, Students also gain an appreciation for “real-world” business sense, as well as an introduction to the corporate business atmosphere.
